Character Name: #000783/Harmony/Clarise Foley

Age: 15

Brief Physical Description: Clarise looks a lot older than she really is, and the great majority of that is on purpose. She’s got the posture, mannerisms, and speech of an adult who’s had a hard life, and she dresses, wears make-up, and generally acts like someone who expects to be taken as an adult so most people assume she is one. If she’s going for a younger look, then she can look like a sweet and innocent 15 year-old girl, but that takes a bit more effort for her – her default is ‘older than I should be.’

Brief Personality Description: Clarise is dangerous and deranged. She’s got a very short temper, no empathy for anyone, and she’s single-mindedly fixated on her goals. She mistrusts everyone, even the few people she’s forced to depend on, and this includes her own mother. She doesn’t like people getting in her personal-space-bubble and will react violently if they do. Occasionally, she’ll have brief manic periods where she’s unaccountably happy, but even then she’s got to have her space and she’ll talk about shit like killing people with a big grin on her face.

While crazy, though, Clarise is not a COMPLETE idiot. She has no empathy, but she knows talking about certain things or doing certain things are frowned upon by other people. Even if she doesn’t understand WHY. So on the occasions she has to go out in public, if she puts her mind to it, she can pass for a normal person. Provided you don’t talk to her for more than 15 or 20 minutes, at which point she’s bound to slip up on something. But it doesn’t happen often, because Clarise would rather shank a stranger than strike up a conversation with him.

Oh, yeah. She’s a serial killer.

Affiliation: Wanted By Everyone. And not in a good way.

Brief History: Well, back when the breeding camps were first set up, plenty of people...made use of its intended purpose. Many of these encounters resulted in children, which was perfectly expected. #000783 was the 783rd such child born (and happened to be MacNair’s kid) and was marked to stay in the camp and become a future breeder. As such, she wasn’t given an official name, but her mother named her ‘Harmony’ in some deluded attempt to bestow a destiny upon her child. (Like how in a post-apocalyptic world there’s always some kid named ‘Hope.’) Didn’t work out so well. 783 was raised in the camp until she turned 10, suffering all the physical, mental, and sexual abuse that was so prevalent there and being very, very affected by it. When she was ten, there came an attack on the camps that was actually successful. Or partially so. In the confusion several breeders escaped, including 783 and her mother.

They moved way out into the country-side to live as muggles, but getting normal jobs and making a living was pretty much impossible. For a few years they lived off the charity of the group that had busted them out of the camp, but eventually that group was wiped out by the Ministry. So they took to the streets and lived as homeless beggars. 783 started calling herself ‘Clarise Foley’ because, frankly, Harmony is a stupid name. Never very close to her mother, she continually tried to separate herself and live on her own, but it was nearly impossible and they got more sympathy as a mother-daughter pair (and thus more spare change) so she stayed with her mother out of necessity. She tried to learn to be a pickpocket, but couldn’t stand bumping into people. (OMG PERSONAL SPACE!) She fell in with some crooks who showed her how to mug people instead, and on her first attempt she brutally killed the guy. Which actually freaked out her ‘friends’ and they avoided her ever after. Clarise could not for the life of her figure out why this was freaky – they got his wallet and watch and even his shoes out of the deal! She continued to kill people and steal their stuff, and at one point even murdered a wizard and stole his wand, getting her mother to teach her how to use it. After that it was easier to hide the bodies.

After a few years of that, Clarise moved to London intent on finding and killing her father, since she assumed he was an evil man and to blame for everything bad and good in her life and he just plain old deserved it and why not? She left without telling this plan to her mother, who wouldn’t have approved anyway. However, Clarise doesn’t know who her father is or how to find him, so she’s decided that the best way to make sure she kills him is to kill every pureblood she meets, starting with the Death Eaters. Failing that, she’ll take whatever, especially if it’s someone with a better wand or a heavy coin purse.

In a world were James Potter lived and Lily and Harry Potter died, where Voldemort rules from the Ministry, how do you see your character fitting? Her? She wants to kill everyone.
